Fern Retreat is a peaceful and welcoming base for exploring Lymington, the New Forest and the beautiful Hampshire coast. Guests can enjoy a relaxed morning in the garden before wandering into town for coffee, shopping or a leisurely lunch, with Lymington’s historic quay, marina and charming streets all close by.
Lymington has a fantastic choice of independent cafés, traditional pubs and restaurants, from cosy places for a Sunday roast to seafood, cocktails and relaxed evening dining. There are also plenty of lovely spots around the marina and quay, making it easy to enjoy dinner or drinks without having to travel far.
Beyond the town, guests can explore nearby villages such as Brockenhurst, Beaulieu and Lyndhurst, enjoy forest walks and cycle routes, spot the famous New Forest ponies, or head towards the coast for beach days and waterside walks.
